I'm in the last efforts of publishing my next novel and I decided I need a map. I did my best to represent where things are in relation to each but it looks horrible as you'll see. I need an artist to redo it. The novel is scifi, set on a desert planet, but I only want a black and white line drawing with some items improved. For example I have a mountain that's currently a circle. You can do better than that! I don't have a lot of time and I don't need something complicated. Spend between 15 minutes and half an hour on this. Winner will be chosen today. Final image in jpg format.

Ok, I meant to pick it tonight by midnight, but I'm going cross eyed from editing etc. and I'm going to go ahead and give it until tomorrow morning. There's some really great submissions.

  I didn't do a great job of describing some of the features:
  The liftport is the base of a space elevator. Like an airport the lifter comes from space and comes to rest at the liftport where passengers can get on and off.
  The tower is a control tower for the liftport like at an airport. It also houses some government offices.
  The Dark Quarters is the original settlement which was wielded together from old space craft and cargo containers. It stands out from the sleek new dome over the bulk of the settlement.
  The badlands, mainly rolling sand dunes.

For example, where I have a circle labeled, "Mine" I'd love to see something that looks like a mine opening. Where it says, "Mountain," I'd love to see a /\ or something that looks mountain-like. I'd especially like to see a scifi looking building where it says, "Tower."
