Please write an article (300 words) or two shorter articles (150 words each) about SLOW FASHION

It should be about a designer and/or artisan who cares about sustainability e.g. uses organic materials, natural colours or recycled materials.

Topics of the articles may be related to:
- Small Independent, sustainable fashion design labels or
- Artisans reviving traditional crafts / working with traditional artisans in developing countries (e.g. Fair Trade)

We are looking for ORIGINAL short articles with EXAMPLES of CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS / DESIGNERS, which involves doing a quick search online to find interesting topics to write about.

We prefer articles from non-English speaking contexts however we will consider everything.

Articles MUST:
- be written in English
- include 300 words of ORIGINAL text (do NOT copy and paste from another website, but you can rewrite an article that found interesting in your own words)
- include REFERENCES (a web link) to show where you took the information from, even if the original sources are not in English.

Articles without references will not be considered.

Hi everyone - unfortunately the title of this contest was misleading and Freelancer doesn't give me the option to change it. Please note that our focus is mainly on FASHION, ARTISANSHIP and CRAFTS. We will look at the references but I'm afraid topics that are too unrelated from the central focus (FASHION and TRADITIONAL CRAFTS) will not be included. Please read the instructions and do not rely solely on the title of the contest to make an entry!

  it really does depend on the quality and adherence to contest description - I am looking for practical examples of local initiatives/projects, small business, labels, groups and organizations that are involved in doing crafts/design/art/fashion with a strong sustainable -ecofriendly ethos (so recycling / Upcycling projects or ideas for minimising waste creatively, coloring with natural colours etc).
