I am a literary editor, trained and practicing teacher with an M.A. in literature and a B.Ed in English and Literature - both from Kenyatta University, Kenya. I am highly qualified and experienced in research in many areas among them literature, music and dance, culture, art, history and politics. My understanding of literary genres and trends, is both deep and constantly irrigated by an unrestricted appetite for books; both fiction and non-fiction. My writing bears the mark of intellect, sophistication and artistry and my work has appeared in magazines, journals, anthologies, and books - both fictional and scholarly, online and in print. I have also directed national award-winning items for theatre including plays, verses, narratives as well as modern dance. I speak English and Swahili excellently and have intermediate French language skills.
