Hello, my name is Anna Kotousov and I’m a sound designer and screen music composer from Adelaide, Australia. I started my creative career in this field more than 15 years ago, working in Moscow for Russian state and local TV Channels. It was a great time making SFX for NTV criminal programs, composing music and songs for children’s animation on the TV channel Stolica, creating soundtracks for documentaries about Moscow history, shows about wild animals for First National TV Channel (aka ORT), and many more. When I moved to Australia, I understood that I want to bring my skills and knowledge in sound post-production to a new level and went back to university. In addition to my music and electrical engineering education, I’ve graduated as a sound engineer and achieved my Master of Arts degree in Sound Design. Since then I’ve composed soundtracks for a few projects, including documentaries, short animations, 2 full length feature films (thrillers) and a number of jingles for webs, podcasts and advertising. My recent project - a complete soundtrack for a feature film (Captured 2019) - was nominated for the best sound design and music score in the BLASTOFF 2019 International Film Festival in LA. I’m sure that one of the main factors of a project success is a well established communication. It helps me be on the same page with my client and keeps the desired direction throughout the whole project. When I work with directors, film producers, voice artists, musicians or business owners who need my services, I always try to start with reviewing targets, tasks assets and clearing all the details. 
I can provide the following services: Screen music, background music composition; Jingles and advertising;
 SFX, field recording, foley and atmospheric sound design; Dialogue cleaning and audio restoration;
 Recording and mixing;
 Music and SFX placement; Voice over in English (male) and Russian (female) 
All my projects are completed in the GussySound studio, that I built a few years ago. It has a great acoustic environment to record and mix, professional quality monitoring and equipment, a nice collection of microphones and all the software, libraries and musical instruments needed to produce high quality tracks. My main DAW is Avid ProTools.
