Add post id to pop-up url using JS.

I am using the plugin wp pop-up maker with i-frame extension. I would like to add a ref_id=(post id) to the end of the URL when the button to open the pop-up is clicked. The post ID is derived from the post where the button is located. The plug-in has a convent box on the back end that will accept JS scripts that will modify the pop-ups behaviour. The posts are listed on a WordPress page, each with a button embedded that will launch the pop-up. This task will be complete when each button when press will apply its post id to pop-up url, which will then display the form for editing that particular post.
