2. OVERVIEW OF WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS

- Must modify an existing wordpress template to fit the desired design specified below

- Must have cross-browser compatibility (Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari, Opera).

- Must validate to W3C specifications.

3. STYLE AND LAYOUT

Educational Theme – This site should be about students helping other students with schoolwork. An online community where students of all types/grades can give and get advice. The navigation should be

categorized by education level (Elementary, Middle School, High School, College, Parent/Teacher). Under each category would be links like “Homework Help, Study tips, Subjects, etc.”. This site is a great

guide for what I'm looking for:

This site should be a re-skinned wordpress template. This means to take one of the themes listed below and alter it to fit this desired design. It doesn't not need to be built "from scratch" - altering

colors/images and some elements of a pre-existing wordpress theme is desired.

If you feel there is a different theme which would be easier to alter to fit the desired design of this website, then you may use that one instead.

4. COMMON PAGE ELEMENTS:

- Header: The header should have a logo for "Students Achieving More" along with the title.

- Navigation: Navigation will include links to all pages listed below below under "LIST OF PAGES". It should be obvious which page the user is on in the navigation. Each main page should also have a "sub

navigation". The sub navigation should link to anchor tags on the main page. For example, on the "Elementary" page, there should be a sub navigation that lists links titled "Homework Help", "Study Tips",

"English Help", "Science Help" and "Health & Fitness". Each of these links don't link to a new page, instead they link to an area on "Elementary". "Homework Help" may link to elementary.html#homework,

etcetera.

- Footer: A typical footer should be included. If you use any creative commons images that need credit, this credit can be included in the footer. Do not include a copyright date in the footer.

5. IMAGE CONTENT

Feel free to include images as it fits the layout and theme. You may also include images as you feel appropriate throughout the site. When choosing images, be sure to use images with the appropriate

permissions/copyrights, such as Creative Commons images. Do not use stock images with watermarks. If you need to give credit for any images, you can place this in the footer.

6. TEXT CONTENT

The text content that will be on the pages of this website is not yet available. For the purposes of designing and building this website, please use basic dummy text where the content should be (“Lorem ipsum

dolor...” etcetera). Please style the text to show common styles (bold, italic, lists, headings, blockquote, etc.)
