Pinterest is simple. Don't you think simplicity is the best? Two jobs, two developers: 1) Masonry layout of posts (attachment [login to view URL]) 2) Recycle the posts when scrolling (many posts, i use infinite loading for them) (attachment [login to view URL]) This project might sound simple, and it is, if you two, and me, communicate like a charm. I want the big companies to be jealous of your project! :D Per job tasks: 1) • Many columns, responsive to screen (i recommend using percentages) • Load posts from left to right ======================== 2) • A directive (open to discuss other methods) that loads the posts array/collection • Keep only the posts inside the view port loaded (as in the .gif attached) 2 + 1) • This needs communication between you two. The height of the div that holds the posts remain as there were posts, so when the user goes there, the directive loads the post again. The actions speak louder than the words, check the attachments. I'm sure this project will look awesome in the final version, i want you and me have the best experience. I want it to be done fast, so 1 day, aka 24 hours it's an easy task mates.
