I want to create a simple and cheap website to hire out wedding items from my recent wedding. As i have no idea whether this will take off or not at this point, so I do not have alot to spend so looking for the best price offer. If it takes off am happy to come back for a more complex site for more money in future.
I would like if possible to get access into the site once complete via an admin login to change writing/details as needed - but if this is more expesnive lets do without for now!
I need the following main pages:
1. A Home Page
with tabs to different pages and a sliding gallery of 5 landscape photos ( provided)
2. About Me / Our Wedding
with space for 2 - 3 paragraphs of text for me to fill in (or I can give it to you) and scattered photos ( different sizes and shapes)
3. Hire Items
There will be 4 sub sections for this part - perhaps as a drop down when a customer clicks on the 'Hire Iems' page.
a. Decorative Items, b. Catering Items, c. Practical Items, d. Bride & Groom Items.
These 4 pages would each need to be laid out like an online shop department where you can click on each listed item & photo to see more detail with an option to add to "hire basket".
4. How Does It Work?
Space for a photo and a few paragraphs/ bullet points of text.
5. Contact Me - online form
SHOPPING BASKET/CHECKOUT FACILITY/PAGES:
I will also need a "hire basket" facility, so that once a customer has slected their chosen hire items and added to basket, they can "continue to checkout". In this page/section, I would like it to be paid out so that they can see whats in their bsket, and it add up the total hire cost.
Then there will need to be an automatic REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT amount added to the total ( for totals under £55, add a £50 deposit. for totals costing under £150 a £100 deposit, and for totals over £150 add a £150 deposit).
Then there will be an option to "pay now via paypal" ( and a paypal link etc) or to "pay on collection/delivery" and customers click which option.
Then press confirm order and a a confirmation of order page with space for a confirmation mesage to be shown.
It would be good if possible to have a little hire basket icon on each page so that at any time a customer can check whats in their basket.
Design:
I want a clean and simple easy to navigate around site, and if possible a background of wood, or hessian? My wedding was a natural, DIY barn and farm theme wedding so colour schemes of peach/tan brown/cream/ivory/white would work well for the design scheme.
I will supply all photos and text.
