I am a character designer and animation filmmaker, based in Los Angeles, graduated from faculty of fine arts of Tehran University, with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design in 2013.
I am an MFA candidate of Film and Animation at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York.
Prior to moving to Rochester, I worked as a character designer and animator in Pouya Negaar animation studio for 3 years. In Rochester, along with pursuing my degree, I worked as a Graphic Designer / Social Media assistant at RIT Center for Residence Life.
I have won numerous awards internationally for a short cut-out style animation called "The Role of Each Fret" which is written, directed, and animated by me. "Blue" is my second successful project that was produced in 2017 and currently selected for more than 20 festivals internationally so far.
