Research Paper Finalisation

Currently completing my doctorate in engineering. My work centers on proposing a new framework on how we view pavement lifecycle from the preconstruction stage to construction and post-construction. The framework is based on a BIM system with AVR technology to better visualised the captured information. The goal is to create a complete dataset of the road as it is used and maintained through out its life. This is achieved by developing a proper CAD model in the preconstruction stage, and later displaying that design with an AR overlay during construction to better ensure quality of the as built when compared to the as design. Furthermore in the postconstruction stage a UAV is flown regularly through the road to get a reality model that can be stored and superimposed over the years to see how it has evolved. To this we add machine learning capabilities to detect score and predict future damage in conjunction to developing an FEA fatigue analysis model using strain gauge data from the road it self. At the moment I want to finalise a research paper with the purpose of presenting the conceptual framework and then demonstrate its efficacy in subsequent papers parts 2 and 3
