Weather data software

Looking for a software developer to design a weather data visual software. Background: We are manufacturers of Automatic Weather Stations which measure Temperature, Barometric Pressure, Wind Direction and Speed, Humidity, Soil Moisture, Radiation, Rainfall, and other Environmental measurements. The data is transmitted via a logger with a modem, currently set at 15 min intervals, though this is variable dependant on the configuration requested by our clients. The data is in JSON or CSV format. Automatic Weather Station Software: Key Features • Data to be retrieved from locally based server (stand-alone system) or cloud based system. Software must work in both options. • A text listing of all stored records may be displayed and edited in Browse mode. • Key point analysis option offering an auto-updating graphical snapshot display of all main weather readings. • Strip Charts mode to provide a graphical tool for monitoring the trend of multiple parameters in close to real time; • A comprehensive charting module for detailed presentation and comparison of all stored data. • The Summary window providing an auto-updating daily text summary of conditions with highs and lows etc. • Provide Monthly and Yearly summaries with appropriate calculated statistics. • Providing a comprehensive features for running an automatic weather reporting website for either local (Intranet) or public (Internet) use, with webpages able to contain text values, graphics and trend graphs. • All settings on the weather station console may be controlled from the in-house based workstations. • Logged data may be exported in a variety of text formats for easy compatibility with other programmes e.g. spreadsheet programs. • Alert system with sms, email, messaging capabilities with key alert settings being set up by the in-house managers. • User levels with access with restrictions based on seniority and hierarchy. • All Visuals must be of the highest quality with easy to understand legends. • Chart plotting should be straightforward with one click option wherever possible. • All stations must will be labelled with respective identifying names and GPS location. Easily identifiable on map of the region. • All data to be plotted on current maps, with capacity to draw an area of interest to bring data from that zone. • Drill down capabilities with individual stations or clusters.
