Update C++ Visual Studios Project to VS2017

We have a functional project that was originally done in VS2012 or 2013. We would like it updated to VS 2017. I started but there are so many errors and I don't have time to figure it out. I would assume it's quick to fix if you know what you are doing.
I have a working copy of the .exe to show how it should be.
Project has further updates once it's in VS2017 if you want to continue
