In Python, implement all of the basic components of an evolutionary algorithm and briefly test them on finding the maxima of the function f (x) = x**2, where x ranges from inserted numbers.

2.) Deliverables

• A clear, concise description of your EA code in text and a few diagrams.

• A justification of your codes modularity and reusability. You should describe how easy it is for your code to incorporate new phenotypes, genotypes, genetic operators and selection mechanisms as may be needed to handle new problems. Provide small examples of code that verify your claim.

• An analysis of the performance of your EA with respect to parameters. Report should be 4-6 pages long, including fitness plots and other diagrams. Write clearly and concisely.

• Implement the mutation and crossover operators below;

Mutation

• Edge Recombination
