Hi, I’m software and database developer with more than 35 years experience. The past 20 years I worked (full-time, in-situ) for two international organizations; Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission, in San Diego, CA ,USA, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, in Victoria, Seychelles. I'm currently retired, doing some freelancing to stay busy and up-to-date. I'm available for full-time schedules if required for short periods of time.
I have more than 25 years experience designing and implementing databases, as well as database-centric applications. I have complete domain of MS SQL Server (including SSIS and SSRS), as well as other RDBMS used for enterprise DB systems (Oracle, MySQL, Postgre).
I also have extensive experience developing web and desktop applications and services in Windows (using .NET and Delphi), as well as linux. In your specific case, I would suggest a first attempt to port using Mono or .NET Core. The LIBUSB is part of most linux distros, so it should not be a hard task to do the porting.
If you think you may be interested in my services, please send me PM. This way, we can discuss your project, and I can also share with you a copy of my CV.
Best regards,
Marco Garcia
