Hello, expert in Linux (and particularly Raspberry Pi) low level programming (C/C++ with OpenGL) here. I can port your C# XNA game to Raspberry Pi (I assume that you have the actual source code for the game and graphical assets + sounds). As you probably know Raspberry Pi is not a terribly powerful computer, so in order to have a performant game play you will have to use low level, compiled, fast programming language like C or C++. Hi, I have a quick way (using custom scripts and installs ) to port most xna devs to linux; I will just need to adapt it a little, and may be the open source libs you use to raspi and it will be working in less than 20 days. GOod day, I actively develop software for the PI. Also, I have been porting software from Windows to UNIX/Linux/OS X for 20 years. There are a couple of ways to do this. The first is to actually port the software from windows. Since there is no such thing as a C# compiler on UNIX/Linux/OS X, this is very unfortunate that it was written in this language. It is THE most non portable code on the planet. As far as graphics is concerned, there are several packages that can be used. Much depends on what was used on Windows. Also, the Open Source libraries will also have to be ported. Now, the second way, is to use MONO. I am going to tell you right straight up that everyone that bids on this will want to use MONO. I cannot tell you how many simple C# projects I have tried to get working with MONO on Linux or OS X that simply don't work. Missing buttons, messed up graphics layout, Segmentation Faults. and huge amounts of RAM required to run the MONO interpreter. Which the PI doesn't have. If you app is much more complicated than a login screen, the probability that it won't work is huge. But the biggest problem will be memory consumption. Since older PI's only have 512 MB of RAM and the newer one has 1GB of ram, it is up in the air as to how well it will perform. Compiling MONO on ARM is not easy. parts of it will have to be cross compiled on Linux using ScratchBox. It will be a long and tedious process just to find out if it works.
