I have been working with Solaris since it was SunOS, and with Solaris 11 in particular since its inception. Please note I am offering 10 days of my attention to your problem, Solaris Engineers charge way more than this ( $500-$600 per day) but I want to establish myself on this website so I am offering you advice at a real bargain price in order to start to build my reputation.

As long as you can install the cpan binary - or one of its variants - then the installation of the required modules and dealing with the Perl environment should be more-or-less the same in both cases. If this is a web application then dealing with the HTTP server such as Apache2 or nginx will differ somewhat in each environment. The differences should not be too difficult to overcome however. Is this is a web application? If so, does it use CGI, mod_perl - or an application framework such as Dancer2, Mojolicious or Catalyst? Depending on the complexity and size of the application, it may take less than a few hours to perform the migration. I have allowed for extra time in my proposal, however, to allow for testing and your feedback - and since you haven't provided any detail about the nature of the application.
