Users are complaining that our Web App is too slow. It's running on Azure. We used New Relic to find out that server side consumes only 300ms. But the average page load time is 3s. The biggest time consumer is "DOM processing" in the browser. So we think the problem lies in the JavaScript / HTML / CSS part.
The goals of the project are
- to have clean JavaScript / HTML / CSS
- to improve page load time significantly (2s instead of 3s)
The project has 31 JavaScript (.js) files with a total of 226 KB and around 300 Views (most of them trivial).
We are using LESS for CSS. The project runs on top of jQuery and Kendo UI.
