Project Requirement: Website Development in Microsoft SharePoint

The website should have two symmetrical versions: one Arabic and one English. On each page, the user should be able to switch from a version to another by clicking on a language button (or flag) that should be available on all the pages. The Arabic translation of the English version shall be done by the vendor. Vendor shall include in his proposal a translation sample from the current website (500 words) for us to review the quality of the translation. For international business units, the website should be able to support languages such as Russian, Ukrainian, Turk, Urdu, etc. Some business units can have an English version of the website, in addition to a local language symmetrical version. The look of the proposed website should use our colors. The corporate branding inputs will be provided by the PR department. Vendors should propose three (3) different mockups for the main page of the website and for three other secondary pages in the website (e.g. for, terminals and management team). Vendors can use the photos available on current our website site to create these mockups. These mockups will be considered as part of the vendor technical evaluation as they provide inputs about the Vendor’s vision for this project. The main page of the website should allow easy navigation through different sections of the website. It should support flash animations, alternated and static pictures, and video playback. All pages should be equipped with a print button to allow the users to print out the page. This function should format the page into a printing-friendly format and offer the user a pre-view before the printing.
