An opportunity has arisen for a media sales executive for an established luxury media company Lux Afrique. The company has a portfolio includes a bi-annual magazine, annual luxury coffee book, luxury online website and several luxury events through out the year. This is an ideal position for someone looking a career in sales, advertising and sponsorship. The successful candidate will be wholly responsible for all advertising, sales and sponsorship revenues across these products. The ideal candidate must be able to show creativity, innovation and excellent negotiation skills as well as a high level of determination. They will be well organized and self motivated with the ability to sell a variety of concepts within their own section. The position is office based for two days with the rest of the day meeting pontential clients and so must have a strong telephone manner and communication skills are vital and excellent spoken and written English skills are essential. You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in these fields with a proven track record in delivering. Offering very attractive commission packages. Must be a UK resident

• Maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities • Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews • Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions • Demonstrating our product to the prospect. • Building business relationships with current and potential clients • Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts • Developing customized targeted sales strategies • Coordinating business generation activities • Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs) • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients • Maintaining short- and long-term business development plans • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc. • Closing sales and working with client through closing process • Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
