Market research in Thailand (Thai language is required)

We are an immigration law firm in the United States that helps married couples and fiancees with immigration. We are in the process of exploring business partnerships in Southeast Asia that would expand our presence in that market. The purpose of this project is to identify businesses in designated areas of Thailand who are providing services to Thai citizens who are in the process of marrying someone from the United States. We plan to approach those businesses to discuss collaborative models for offering immigration law services to their clients. The freelancer will be responsible for: ~ Compiling a list of businesses by geographic area that match criteria based on service area (e.g., marriage-related legal services, marriage event planning, etc.). ~ Using web-based research and phone contact to identify these businesses. ~ Communicating with our managing attorney about strategies to be used in locating businesses. ~ Communicating with professional fluency in the Thai and English languages. This work may potentially be conducted from anywhere, but preference will be given to a Thai-based contractor.
