DST, Data in Science Technologies, requires an individual work remotely to support our Research Community clients in managing their High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms. The mission of DST is to utilize state of the art tools, proven methodologies and senior level engineers to make sure the HPC tool is at peak performance so scientist do more science. The majority of work is from your home office with minimal onsite travel during quarterly reviews with a client.
The following characteristics are preferred: • Systems administration and architect experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, management tools, and enterprise-scale deployment. • Experience in designing and managing HPC cluster storage infrastructure in 4 to 20 PB with up to a thousand cores • Experience with the Platform LSF workload management system, Spectrum Scale (GPFS), or Lustre, or BeeGFS, and InfiniBand fabrics • Experience with management system such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Health care, biomedical research, or academic environment is preferred. • Experience with DDN storage Infrastructure would be nice.
