In this exercise, you are to use the information in the table on the back of this page showing SPEC2017 benchmark performance information for several processors. For each processor, the results of the integer and floating-point benchmarks are given. For each processor (except the reference), perform the following calculations using the data in the table. For each calculation, rank the processors in the order of best performance based on your result. Calculate the geometric mean of the SPECRates for each processor as follows: - integer and floating-point values separately - integer and floating-point combined For each processor, calculate the cost/performance ratio using the combined geometric mean as the performance value for the calculation. Identify the processors with the lowest and highest ratios. Comment on your observations of the rankings and cost/performance results among the methods of summarizing total performance.
