Service description: The purpose of the work is to perform an algorithm deployment using the Python or C ++ language using NS3 - Network Simulator 3. Deployment Steps: 1. Installation of Linux Ubuntu on a virtual machine; 2. Installation of NS3, version 3.16. ([login to view URL]) 3. Integration with NS3 with Evalvid. ([login to view URL]) 4. Integration in NS3 with Algorithm already developed in C ++. (The algorithm hosted in GitHub will be informed in private mode) 5. Generate the same results of the Article (request via chat) with video transmission. (Step 3) 6. Modify the Algorithm and generate graphical results. (You will be informed more information when completing the above steps.) The development should be done in a virtual machine that will be provided remotely to the programmer, or if you wish the developer can do the simulation on his own machine, that at the end of the project the VHD image should be delivered to the contractor. Desired Knowledge: Programming in C ++ or Python; Know Computer Networks; Mathematical Modeling; Payment - The freelancer must give the final bid with the value encompassing the 6 steps; - Payment will be released to the site in the following order: - 30% payment for completion of Steps 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5; - 40% payment for completion of Step 6; - Completion of the 30% Payment when delivering the total project, including codes and VHD.

Hello, Recently, I worked on a similar assignment in which I was asked to reproduce the results of a given research paper using Mininet, Floodlight Controller, and Packet Tracer. In fact, the job was to compare the routing delay between a Software Defined Network (designed using Mininet and Floodlight Controller) and a BGP Network (designed using Packet Tracer). The requirement was to produce a bar graph to compare the delays for different link configurations. It seems you are also working on a similar kind of project, using ns-3, and want to reproduce the results of a given article. It also seems that you want to modify the existing algorithm and produce a graphical output. It would be nice, if you can provide further details of the project, such as the already developed algorithm in C++, the article from which the results are to be reproduced, and the approach that you want to use to modify the algorithm. Hi I have a BSEE from Rutgers University (NJ US) and have done this kind of stuff before. I can give a recommendation from a University of California Berkeley researcher. I have worked for Qualcomm in the past and am very familiar with all aspects of communication technologies. Questions Why do you want version 3.16 ? Any particular reason. There are build issues with that version concerning gccxml. and its using older compilers. One can figure it out but would need more time and then you are stuck with an older version. The current version of ns is 3.29 Is it because evalvid would it not work with ns3.29? Would you need omnet or anything else with it. would you need to model stuff in NED and convert it to code ? I put milestones as you described it, though I suggest creating two additionals say $50 for NS install and test and $50 for evalvid install and test. Because I have been burnt here in the past where people run away after they figured out why their code was not compiling or installing and after I fixed it they refused to pay. ! LOL but it happens. Since you are in Brazil and I am in US I would have to build a VM locally. Whats your timezone ? Mine is UTC -5 (Eastern time US) Let's proceed and finish this task, I am very excited about this. I am willing and able to do this task.
