I work with animal clinics and the clinic will send me a file generated by their office management program. Once the file is generated it usually is written to the clinic's hard drive on their server. Most of the clinic personnel do not know how to retrieve the file from the server so they can email it to me. I need a program with 2 screens, Screen #1 is a one-time setup screen where the clinic will enter their clinic ID number,clinic name and the location of the folder that would contain the file that has been generated. (I don't need this program to figure out where the folder is located....some clinic personnel would know the location and would be able to manually type the location in the folder location field. When this info is entered they will click a Done button to save this info and be taken to the main screen. Once they generate the file that I need, they start this program to locate the file. When they click the Browse button they are automatically taken to the folder based on the input on the Setup screen. Then can then search the folder to find the file. Once they locate the file, they click a Send button to email the file to me. Prior to sending the file, this program will rename the file to reflect the clinic's ID number - clinic name - current date.
