This is should be a rather simple system to build, here are the requirements:
Website Function:
- This is a website, not installable software
- 2 account types, employee and manager
- Website links to Amazon Web Services and eBay API
- User logs in and can scan an item using a bar code scanner
- Once scanned, the site goes to Amazon and downloads the first 3 related pictures and the product description using the UPC code as a search string
- Item is then inserted into defined eBay account as an auction
- Website has an archive of listings created, broken down by selectable day/week/month
Employee Account:
- On login, cursor automatically appears in UPC insert box
- Account will only be able to log in and use a UPC code scanner to add products
- Scan produces an image download from Amazon and product description then automatically forwards to the next page
- Product scan will show results of scan on following page (images and description)
- Employee clicks next, and then continues to do another scan
Manager Account:
- Add/Edit/Remove eBay and Amazon access information
- Manager reviews the scans/listings prior to setting them to active
- Can set multiple eBay accounts to be logged into and specific products used in each account (cannot put the same product in all stores at the same time)
- Can set auction duration, auction starting price, shipping price (including free shipping), and tax
- Checkbox next to each listing to set as active and upload in bulk (multi-select, clickable mass upload button)
- Displays daily/weekly/monthly sales totals (quantities and revenue), bids, and watchers
- Create/edit/remove employee accounts
- Display total employee account activity (by day, week, and month - selectable)
Notes:
- This is for a website that performs these functions and will be installed on a dedicated server provided to the freelancer
- Use of general Amazon and eBay API is required, user accounts and AWS secret information will be specified in Manager panel, you will use your own accounts for testing
- Please make the site "LOOK GOOD", it needs to not only perform the functions well, but must look good and "web 2.0 style" with rounded edges and proper colors.
- Must be 100% completed within 2 weeks time
