Video Playlist System with Unique Users

This will be a web-based system that allows unique users to select videos stored in a database and arrange them into playlists that can be launched into a fullscreen playback mode. The finished system will have the following features: Backend/Admin (for single administrator): - database capable of storing video files. Videos will be less than 10 seconds - admin web interface for uploading new videos to database, monitoring users, and tracking user/video stats - ability create new users for the system Playlist creation module (for unique users): - users can create and name a new playlist - users can search or browse categories for videos in the database - users can preview video thumbnails before adding them to a playlist - users can select videos and add them to a "playlist" - playlists allow users to rearrange the order of videos and specify the length that each video will be displayed - Videos in the database will be short (5-10 seconds) but will need to loop for the duration of time that the user has specified (ex: a user defines the duration of a playlist item to be 1 minute and selects a 5 second video. The 5 second video will need to loop continuously for 1 minute) Presentation module (for unique users): - users will be able to select a previously created playlist from their dashboard and launch it in "Presentation Mode" - once in Presentation Mode, the videos will be shown full screen (within a customizable framed border) and will progress through the playlist based upon the specified timing assigned by the user - user has the ability to upload a customized framed border for fullscreen mode - Presentation Mode will need a pause function and a skip to next video function - at the end of the playlist, a pre-determined image will be displayed fullscreen until the user exits Presentation mode Additional features: The system will need the ability to run off of locally stored backups of the video files in the event of network issues.
