Upgrade my custom made Excel data download application with new API

Upgrade my custom made Excel user application that automatically downloads racing data from a server. The application downloads race betting data (win/ place values) under password from a server. Upgrade an existing Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to work with the upgraded TAB API. - Ensure that the spreadsheet can work with any Microsoft Excel version (up to the latest) - Retain current spreadsheet functionality i.e. - Get Venues, - Get Races & results for a chosen venue/date into predefined worksheet template, - Allow scheduling of race/results downloads in advance until the race closes - Consolidate race results into predefined worksheet template - Reduce spreadsheet file size to the extent possible - Hide API credentials (if possible) so that end user cannot access/change these e.g. consider having user/admin mode for spreadsheet if possible Note: If you have an alternative way of providing the same functionality as the spreadsheet then you may propose this. As long as it is still easy to maintain and distribute to my users and can be run on windows computers. Firstly, my username and the password provides a alphanumeric acceptance code from the XML server on signing up. This acceptance code number is valid for a single day only Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Thereafter, the 'VENUE CODE’ is filled in manually by the user. On scheduling the dialogue box, the Application starts automatically on time. Firstly, the ‘LOAD RACE DETAILS’ are filled up to provide each Race URL. Thereafter application starts downloading data. From then, automatic periodic download of the data occurs at set intervals as coded.
