Good day,
I run an ecommerce store based in South Africa. The products listed on our website are the same products on Amazon. The products have been scraped from [login to view URL] and entered into our site. Our problem comes when a customer has to purchase something on our website, and later we find out that Amazon no longer has that product in stock or it is at a very different price (when we fulfil that order)
We would like to implement a system to update (in the background) the price and availability of the product on our website just before the customer wants to buy.
Example: Customer clicks on a page, they then press buy. A loading icon will show to the customer, meanwhile in the background, it is going to the [login to view URL] to check the availability and price. It then updates the price on our store and lets the customer buy (if it's available).
The SKU for each product is available within the product information (on our store). We run on Shopify.
