Server configuration to upload big files

I have a droplet in Digital Ocean in which I upload files with a size of 2GB via frontend, so PHP handles the upload. But even with small files every upload I make, the error is "connection timeout closed". I just try uploading 10 to 20 seconds and after that upload fails! Help with this issue.
