Hi, we are a small food business, creating healthy meals. These are then packed and sent to the customer. I am looking for a simple computer program (preferably not web based, as there is no internet connection in the kitchen) which we are able to scan in barcodes from an order form. Then scan the products as they are being packed. If any errors are noticed, then the software will pop up with an error. A Start/Stop code will need to be added to start and end the order. The whole process needs to be quick and easy, probably using a computer with a barcode scanner attached. The scanner can have a 'return' feature added so that each barcode is inputted then the 'Return' key is pressed. Step 1 - Customer Order Number is Scanned Step 2 - Scan the 'Start List' barcode Step 3 - Scan the barcodes on the order form to create a list of products that need to be packed Step 4 - Scan the 'End List' barcode Step 5 - Scan the 'Start Packing Barcode' Step 6 - Scan the barcode on the delivery label (check against Order number) Step 7 - Scan product barcodes. Correct barcodes to be checked off the list (with a visual/noice to confirm correct'. Incorrect barcodes to come up with an error noise. Software will need to spot errors like 'too many of one product packed'. Step 8 - Once order is completed a message is displayed Step 9 - Scan the 'Order Finished' barcode Step 10 - Start all over again
