Onpoint Order System Development

Hi, We are a promotional products importer from China and have developed a web app which our entire ordering system runs through. The developer is a close friend who is leaving to go onto bigger and better things as he was starting off as a junior. He has learned a lot as its developed but we now want to adapt the system and take it to the next level. The system consists of an order processing, quotes, customer database etc. and on adding additonal products it automatically updates our website - [login to view URL] We are looking for a freelancer who will work closely with me to implement new features stage by stage. As you will be developing an existing system I do understand it will take some time to get used to how we work & how the system works. Currently users can login to our website and access pricing & downloads but can not see their orders. The first job I would like you to quote on would be adding this feature to the system. The data will be taken directly from our system, however the existing users of the website will need to be linked to the customer on our back end so they see the correct information on login. There is potential some coding will need to be updated as we progress with each feature added. There is a lot of work we plan to do with this order system and make it more professional and automatic as we build it so we are looking for a long term developer who can learn our business and help us grow. This is the first job of many but feel this is a good one to learn more about us. Our developer will still be working for us and available to help + talk through the change over period.
