My name is Rosevelt Hawkins and I am a serial entrepreneur out of Austin, Texas. I have worked for (2) companies and assisted them with being acquired by other companies for over $450M. I am currently working on creating a website (MyscholarshipSpot) that assists kids with getting scholarships without writing essays or having the highest GPA. I got this idea because I think a lot of parents and students are losing their dream of pursuing higher education due to the constant rise in costs every year. I figured that if I can develop a system that assists anybody pursuing higher education with funds, the world would be a better place. This site needs to have the ability to have a scrolling ticker at the bottom of the site that highlights every kid that we give a scholarship spot to on behalf of a school or company. The site needs to provide the ability for people to create a profile. The profile will not be extensive. I need for it to give people the ability to add a picture of their face, name, email address, GPA, 3 college or secondary schools of interest and locked field for their phone number. To make sure that every student is still a member of our site and eligible to be given a scholarship they will be required to pay $3.00 annually. Another section of the site needs to be created to display a profile for all member schools associated with the platform itself. Each school will be listed in the section that allotted for that academic level. (Preschool to Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten to middle school, Junior high through Highschool, vocational school or college/university. Each member school will pay $75-$99 monthly to be a part of our platform. Every school profile will allow schools to put their name, address, phone number, school district, website, point of and contact email/phone number. I am open to adding more to this area so I would like to be able to add more necessary fields. The third area of the site will need to be set up to allow businesses to build a profile. We need to have the ability to list business name, website, phone number and the ability to maybe list company specials. This feature in itself will be something that business owners can control on their own by accessing it with their password. So a site with the ability to: - Allow Individuals to build a profile - Allow schools to build a profile - Allow companies to build a profile The site will do nothing but give out scholarships on behalf of MyscholarshipSpot and the company or school that is randomly chosen every quarter.
