Make a couple of Wordpress/ WooCommerce plugins play nice together.

I have a WooCommerce site that uses two plugins for searching and filtering products. One is WooCommerce Products Filter the other is a lesser known plugin. Basically they manipulate the query string and filter the products accordingly. They currently work independently, and i can manually manipulate the query string and get the functionality I need, but i need one of the plugins criteria to be persistent until it is cleared or changed. I also need the category product counts and filter counts to update to reflect the filtered product count. All filtering should take place on the page being viewed i.e. category page or search results page. Plugin modifications should be documented so I can incorporate them after plugin updates.
