hello bob886, I can perform this migration flawlessly. Websites do not depend on the OS version. They will only depend on the php version and mysql version being used. However, wordpress plugins and wordpress itself support newer php versions. I will test the compatibility first and then check if there will be any complications after the migration. I have done hundreds of migrations before and am quite comfortable working with ssh without any panel. Please let us discuss the details and i am ready to get started.. Does the destination Linode server have to be CentOS? I currently use Linode for my hosting. I manage 11 ($10) nodes. 5 belong to a client that builds sites exclusively using wp. I use a custom Linux image that I have built. It is very lean, fast, and uses the latest production version LAMP packages. I can provide in production WordPress sites for verification of load times. Also my image also provides Lets encrypt certification.
