Hi, I need an API expert. I am building an android app for a client of mine. I am at a point where I need to integrate their backend into the app. Problem is, they have absolutely no documentation for the backend calls. In fact, the API was developed for the website and not really keeping mobile apps in mind. What they do have is a test server(On which the test website is running) and a list of endpoints. What I have done till now- Use the google chrome console to look at the http request and response of a few calls. Now I am stuck because I am unable to decipher the calls, their authentication method whether they are REST calls or session based etc. TBH I’ve never integrated an undocumented API before. What I need- I need someone who deals with this kind of work and is confident that he/she can help me understand the working of this API. To be clear I don’t need you to fully go through each and every call and document it. I need you to just help me understand the system that they have in place using your expertise and then I can take it from there. I am assuming this will take 4-5 hours. Hello Boss I have over 10 years of experience in Java and 2 years in API development Using Spring Restful or pure Java API calls, with full swagger and Java code documentation, oAuth 2 authentication for Android, iOS and web applications.
