Hello, I had reviewed your requirement and you would like to migrate the website from godaddy to Amazon. I hope, you would be using either VPS(may be cPanel installed) or shared hosting with cPanel. Here is the best way to migrate the data from your godaddy account to amazon. 1. Launch the instance(preferably amazon Linux or Ubuntu) 2. Take backup of all the files under public_html(incase of cPanel). If its non control panel server, download the content of documentroot files to your local file 3. Use Phpmyadmin to download the database associated with your domain. 4. Install LAMP on amazon server. 5. Copy and restore the files/database to domain documentroot on amazon server. 6. Assign an elastic IP address to the amazon server 7. Point the domain to elastic IP address. The above solution which we had given based on the assumption of what we got from project description.
