Hello i am Vagelis and i work as a WordPress developer, the main problem with hacked wordpress websites aint the malware but the wholes. i will try to give you a quick workflow of a wordpress website clean up. First of all you get a full backup then you check users table for any "weird" users, you scan the website with wordpress scanners to save some time from identifying the problem/s then the real clean up starts you update everything (themes, plugins,core) you remove and reinstall all plugins you reinstall main theme (and remove the unused ones) you change all usernames and passwords (admin accounts ofc only) you remove all wordpress core files you re install all wordpress core files you change all wordpress hash keys you check uploads folder manually for injected files you change wordpress database password you recheck users table you re scan the website normaly the website is clean and the problem is gone let me know if you need more information about the procedure, even if you dont want to work with me on this one (because of the price) i would be happy to talk with you again for any future projects you may have.
