Design and develop website and help with SEO

We are looking for an experienced web designer to create a website for a new business which will be selling a children's book, e-book and interactive mobile app. We need a lightweight, fully responsive site and SEO help and advice to make sure the books name, which is the same of the URL, is at the top of all search engines. (There are no competing names and is unique.) The book is not ready for release yet, however we would like the site up and running so straight away we can be found through search engines. Then we can update the site with more content. We are releasing an animated version of the book on YouTube which will be the main focus on the home page, so we need a well designed light-box / modal window, or whatever too play the video full screen. We also need someone who has experience with Push Notifications and SSL, both of which we require. Experience with EC2 from Amazon is an advantage but not essential. At this time we are not interested in using wordpress / plugins however if it can be proved it is a good solution it will be considered, as its a simple site we didn't think it was needed.
