Custom function in Woocommerce Bookings - first/next available booking date

We have a Wordpress site with the Woocommerce Bookings Plugin. Some products are "Shows" with only one date and time available for bookings. Most products are courses with only one date and one time available for bookings. Some products does not have available dates until a few months ahead. We would like a function that automatically jumps (skips) the calender ahead to the first available date of the selected product (to avoid that the customer has to click several times on the skip button of the calendar before he/she finds an available date). This function should be written in the child theme to avoid that it breaks when the plugins are updated.
