NOTE: after reading description, see attachment for example of scope of work and then bid. Do not bid if you have not seen the example zip and understand the requirements. You cannot use the designer to do this code... you must do it all with source view and you can use macros. In order to be considered for this job you _MUST_ mention that you looked over the zip or I will ignore your bid. Thanks! The selected candidate will be responsible for viewing approximately 200 word documents and translating them into proper semantic HTML (no font, b, u, i, etc tags) within an ASP.NET/Visual Studio Solution (the Solution is Visual Studio 2008 but can be downgraded to 2005 for the purpose of this assignment). I estimate an average of 1 hour per page if you are not good with macros and recording macros (note: I will supply a very large list of existing macros that I have used to convert the text, but you still must know how to us them!). Each document consists of text, potentially a graph/chart (HTML table), and potentially images. The candidate will have a set guideline and template to fill in the content. There will be a few examples and they must be followed very strictly. Text can be copy and pasted directly from the Word documents and then wrapped with proper HTML and ASP.NET markup. No actual typing will be required. Images accompany many of the files. The images must be renamed and placed in a well-defined folder structure and then referenced through the markup using ASP.NET Image elements. The candidate must open each page through a browser after completing it to ensure that its output matches that of the word document. Note that it will not match exactly, but all the pieces of content must be included, including row/alt-row alternating colors and table header colors. Product must be done quickly (preferably in less than one week). Work is fairly segregated so there would be no limit to the size of the team to get this done quickly.
