Looking to modify our website and add other features

General Site Description: 123Livingspace is a Real Estate Marketing company founded in 2006, headquarter in Providence Rhode Island. We are looking to modify our website and add other features to bring our site to the next level. Currently the site is interactive, based around a user dashboard with marketing tools. Customers/Clients that currently use our service range from Real Estate Brokers/Agents to Home Owners and Tenants. Ideal Candidate for this Job: Any person or company who is highly proficient in PHP & MySQL, can integrate with various existing scripts (forum scripts, billing scripts, mailing list management scripts, etc), and understands how to use a bit of AJAX to artfully augment the site's design and functionality. You should also have a good eye for professional web-design and be able to improve and build upon the site's current design. Have the knowledge to recognize some bad PHP coding on current design and fix them accordingly. Candidate should be an expert in coding for high ranking in search engines like google and yahoo. Scope of Project: The project will involve on modifying www.123LivingSpace.com. You will be working or loading final product into a NEW server for testing purpose. This project consists of the following tasks. Task 1 – Adding a Tenant Profile: We would like to have Tenant post there Profiles online for better results when in search for Apartment for Rent or House for Sale. During Tenant registration they will be asked a serious of questions for ease of posting. Once Tenant is registered they will be searchable by Property Management Companies/Agents or Home Owners. Task 2 – Private Label Website: The Private Website is a Real Estate site like any other simple website. The only difference here is the Private Label Website will be reporting/storing all property information to [login to view URL]’s master database. This task involves on allowing Bokers or Property Management Company to purchase a Private label website which allows them to post, edit and delete properties from their own Private Website. It will allow the Broker or its Agents to post properties through their website instead of going to 123LivingSpace.com. All property and account information are kept on [login to view URL]’s master database. For this task we would like to know from an expert like you what would be a better practice; whether to have a new server for each Private Label Website or just create new Directories on the same server [login to view URL] is being hosted. Please take in consideration the lack of speed this may cause in the future as we keep getting new clients. We will be using [login to view URL] as our new hosting company as they allow sharing database between other websites. Timeline: Project must be completed no later than September 30, 2009. Key Issues: Following key issues have been identified. The major issues with this website are listed below; 1. Graphics are not Eye-Catchy or should say modern. Would like it to look more like [login to view URL] 2. URLs/site are not crawler friendly 3. Page titles are not properly used 4. Meta tags have issues in them 5. Site is not SEO friendly 6. Would like for every posting to be searchable by google, yahoo, ect. Suggestions: The website needs to focus on all the above mentioned points. Please let me know of any suggestions you may have to make this better if you can. Note that it is very important for us to be searchable by top search engines (SEO). Further Details: Our team will be giving you loose guidance as you work on the project and we will approve both the design and various segments individually. If you are accepted for the project, we will send over a much more detailed report of how the site should be developed and structured that leaves little to the imagination. An NDA will need to be signed as we have other sites to develop.
