hi, I have made such software for thai True mobile operator. I will create C#.Net windows app that will read incoming message then will parse and stored data in mssql database. I would suggest you to do for wavecom GSM modem instead of mobile since many mobile handset manufacturer blocked read of sms via deskop app. Please reply thanks Narendra

Hi when you said save to database, are you referring to a online dB server or local device compact SQL server? both are doable anyway. Is there a predefined format? I. e a rule that can be apply to the message string to identified 2nd n 3rd column unit.

I'm new with freelancer but what made me excited that I have made this project before we made a program that read SMSs from USB modem which store these SMSs in access data file and we analyse these SMSs also

dear Employer, Greetings, it is only possible if your modem support AT Commands, there are some other SDKs available as well that comes with driver, but i can work with them so if you have modem with AT Commands support, then we need to put it into a linux Machine, where i need to install some open source program. these program will save the raw information into database. next we need to develop a small one pager app, which will parse those RAW sms and properly format them lets discuss

Already done this type of project in one of my firm's projects. Very simple, we need text parser and at commands for mobile APIs
