Message/Notification Integration (Wordpress Multi-site & IPB Forum)

Background Information: I am running IPB Forum on the front end (main website) and then Wordpress Multi-site in subfolders via a wordpress/IPB bridge. The bridge provides SSO login/logout functionality to handle and synch the logins & logouts between IPB Forum & Wordpress. Current Setup (Wordpress Multi-site Side) I am using Wordpress Multi-site with 4 premiumpress themes. I currently have four premiumpress themes installed (Directory, Real Estate, Jobs, Classifieds), each of them having their own user control panel (front-end) which users use to access, read, reply to their messages. The user-admin bar is hidden and users control their messages from the front-end via the built-in theme functionality. Currently, with the Wordpress multi-site setup, my members are required to visit each site e.g. Classifieds and click on a "control panel" button to access their Classifieds messages which is linked to the classifieds messaging page, then if they need to check their Real Estate messages, they need to visit the Real Estate theme and again click on messages to access the real estate theme's messaging page. Current Setup (IPB Forum Side) The standard messaging / notification setup. ------------------------------------------------------------ Scope of Work / Objective (What I need) - To write a IPB Forum plugin/hook that will check for and pull the messages from the WP Multisites and to be displayed/included/integrated into the IPB messaging system (so that it shows in the IPB inbox and can be read, deleted, managed and replied to along with the existing IPB Forum messages). - The IPB Forum message/notifications counts should be adjusted to also include the WP messages/notifications. - When a member deletes a message originating from one of the WP multisites, it should also be cleaned/removed from the WP sites. IMPORTANT: The changes / script must be delivered in the form of a self-contained IPB plugin/hook which I can install/re-install easily when I need to upgrade IPB.
