Open Directory Project Script

Hello,

This script is based on the Open Directory Project (ODP) site at <[url removed, login to view]> I want to be able to use the script on any site to basically create a directory using the content provided by the ODP. Please be sure to read the short ODP license at <[url removed, login to view]> and the page at <[url removed, login to view]> concerning their link that needs to be placed on each page/category used from their website.

1: Written in PHP/MySQL

2: Should be able to download any, all, or any combination of categories and/or sub-categories with all links in those categories/sub-categories (script should email me when it's done downloading everything - I should not have to wait at the download page while it downloads).

3: Structure of directory should be like actual DMOZ site where each category has its own directory (with the pages in the directory being in HTML).

4: Template feature - should have a [url removed, login to view] file and the ability to upload a template (.html, .htm or .php file) from the admin. Admin can use either method.

5: Admin header and footer files.

6: All titles, links, descriptions, counters, etc. should be modifiable from the admin (when it comes to fonts, alignment, html, etc.).

7: Should be able to click a link in the admin to update any, all, or any combination of categories and/or sub-categories at any time. Or simply update the categories being used on the site.

8: Cron option to perform task in #6 above.

9: Category structure should be shown in the browser title like in the DMOZ directory (ie. <[url removed, login to view]> ). Maybe you can make this a variable (like [[category]] and put it in the [url removed, login to view] file or template - anywhere in the file).

10: Please provide clear install instructions, an [url removed, login to view] file and clear cron instructions.

11: Must be bug free and if any bugs are found, I expect them to be fixed for free (not updates, just bug fixes).

This project should be easy to successfully complete for a good programmer. Please send me any questions you may have.

1) Complete working demo either on buyers or sellers server/website.

2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) as well as complete source code of all work done.

3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition.

4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
