Please do not bid if you do not understand fully of our request. We have been through this with two developers in the past whom were not able to delivery the project on time and to completion. We are looking for programmer with full access to communication; these will include daily update via chat by AIM or MSN messenger. The programmer will need to delicate his/her time fully to this project and can be contact at least five day a week.
We prefer someone with past work done on Oscommerce. Please give links to OSC sites you have modified. Good previous experience with OSC is a must for this project.
We are looking for a programmer/designer whom can help us customize, design, install and implement an Oscommerce shopping cart system. (Similar to [url removed, login to view]) We operate a multi-faucet website which offer, DVD, Game, CD, Comic/GN, figure etc. with over 4000+ products and are still growing. We need someone who know how to develop and design a website that is efficient, professional, easy to navigate, user friendly and compatible to all sort of browsers.
Optimization on loading time is important for an online shop. So we need someone that knows how to do Mysql database optimization. This programmer needs to have in depth knowledge of Oscommerce shopping system, PHP and Mysql database optimization performances. Skills needed are MySql, HTML, XML, PHP, Java Script, Website SEO, Website Design, Website security and Search Engine optimization. Platform will be in Linux
We would like to have the website design similar to YesAsia and [url removed, login to view] with the following customize features added to the latest version of Oscommerce.
* Feature Items Section on site
* Frequent Buyer System
* Mass upload of new products into database with excel format
Mass upload should have ways to include on/off options icon to tag with following feature. --Import/domestic tagging, Category tagging. (ie. Item is a DVD, CD …. Etc), New arrival, coming soon or pre-release … etc. Any features tied in with the products pages need to be able to set in the excel page to upload (ie. Special shipping requirement such as class or rates)
* Preset Products fields for products page,
* Pre-define products (images icon tag) for its category class, such as (item is as DVD, CD, Game, Comic etc ),
* Pre-define (ID tag) products of it releases regions (ID it as domestic, Import)
* Pre-define (ID tag) Pre-order Item, New releases, Back Ordered Item.
* Pre-define (ID tag) Sales tag for items going on sales or special.
* 2 Notification/subscription mailing lists, One for adult, One for the general
* On registration, customer’s email address need validation for typo.
* Initial Warning screen for enter into Adult material section from any location
* 2 separate New arrival pages One for Adult and On for Non Adult (general), Items should only be listed under as new no more than 2 months, Items should rotate to display within the same batch
* Invoice and Packing slip ID with Order number
* Email Order confirmation to include order’s details and Order ID number
* Out of stock notification sign-up / Restock notifications to customers whom wishes to be notified
* Products and events notification.

* Database back up and maintenances daily feature
* Be able to add and remove categories tabs
* Set up UPSP Shipping module (be able to selects which shipping method we like to use)
* Set up UPS shipping module
* Implement and install Endicia/Dazzle Shipping tool
* Shipping module for free shipping on select eligible products that meet X amount $
* Fix shipping carrier on selected products purchased (example Figure by UPS only or selected items by UPS only)
* able set items to be eligible for free shipping on X amount met (domestic shipping only)
* Shipping options customers need to address before checkout. (Options are like ship in full, ship partial)
* Set up Credit card Module with Verisign.
* Install SSL Cert
* Set up Free Shipping Module for domestic shipping, with optional upgrade at X amount for a different shipping class (domestic only)
* Add in search by alphabets #-Z
* Allow for Inventory control for a selected payment type (Mail in Order). (Do not deduct inventory of this set of payment option. Other type of payment need auto deduction)
* Customers will be able to edit order placed under “mail in order” able to add or delete items, or change payment term before order get processed.
* Fix template for each categories in the shop, example, Figure need extra images field after descriptions, Or Game, have multiple images. (Best options is to have a fix multiply-usable format with multiply images but only load the images if images is provided, if no images is provided, that field should not should up, the way all we really needed is actually just ONE master template for the product page)
* Suggest List price, Our price, Sale Price, Your saving…….

* Bundle sales special, (similar to what [url removed, login to view] have)
* able to cross sell across categories, by auto grouping and showing same titles under different categories

Upon completion, need to move and integrate our current database/shop to a new web host or exiting web host
There will more features we needs once this phase is completed, so there is potential long-term relationship is open
