Tweaks, fixes and additions to main page/backend of Website

Basically we have a web page that is up and running but we constantly make changes to it. The list of the changes we would like to make is the one you see under the Checklists part of this document.

The page has a mix of Flash, ActionScript 2 and 3, PHP, SQL. Java and HTML so skills in all of these languages are required.

The list should be pretty comprehensive but in case something comes up during the project development I hope you understand and don’t consider it as extra but as part of making everything look and work as perfect as we want it to be.

So here is the list.

Frontend Checklist:

All Pages:

• Replace titles made out of images with text using the proper font (supplied).

• Make audio controls more visible.

• Logo at the bottom left is supposed to take you to the Welcome page instead it reloads the whole page.

Main Page:

• Eliminate the Twitter button and integrate follow us on Facebook at the bottom right corner of the in the main FLA.

• Get rid of HTML code and scripts used by the Facebook and Twitter buttons for the hover effect.

Weddings:

• Justify the text as per other pages.

Wedding Photography Gallery:

• Change the font and position of the title to match the other pages.

• Change the font of the gallery names to match the one used for general text in the whole page.

• Fix the gallery code since it has many glitches like:

-Once a gallery is clicked the side thumbnails appear and the first picture does not appear until it’s loaded but nothing changes until that happens. At least show a black bg with the loading logo during that time.

-The thumbnails do not scroll automatically when the slideshow plays.

-The button nest to play/stop should restart the slideshow from the first slide but it’s not working.

- Thumbnails do not reflect the whole image, just a part of it.

- Round the corners of the thumbnails column to reflect the main page look.

- Change the thumbnails to a 50% opacity and make them 100% on hover with fade in and fade out (like current) instead of the red highlight.

Wedding Cinematography:

• Change the font and position of the title to match the other pages.

• The music fades out on opening but something goes wrong after the video starts playing and you change page. The video is supposed to stop and the main music resume but it’s not happening correctly. Check and fix any possible problem.

• Change the background of the page (will be supplied).

• Change the video player ([login to view URL]) with one that allows playback of multiple videos and has a better resolution when going full screen ([login to view URL]) but possibly keeping the same theme (JWPlayer is preferred).

Sessions:

• Change the font and position of the title to match the other pages.

• Justify the text as per other pages.

Photo Sessions:

• Change the font and position of the title to match the other pages.

• Change the font of the gallery names to match the one used for general text in the whole page.

• Change the background of the page (will be supplied).

• Fix the gallery code since it has many glitches (same as Wedding Photo Gallery).

The Experience:

• Might add some kind of background on a side (not decided yet).

Customer Access:

• Might add some text in between the title and the user/pass fields.

• In case user expired present a dialog asking the customer to go to the contact page. If yes is pressed change to that page. If no remain on the page.

Testimonials:

• Add a line to the scrollbar same as The Experience page.

• Replace the font used in the names of the testimonials with the one used in the original design which will be supplied ([login to view URL]).

• Expand the content field so it is closer to where the picture starts and so the text takes more space horizontally.

• Comments in other languages like Russian or Japanese are not shown correctly.

• The amount of Testimonials displayed is not the same of the ones in the backend.
