Hello, I have done several shoots not dissimilar to yours (examples in my portfolio here, under 'product photography'). I would be guided by yourself as to whether you wanted your products against white, or a more emotive background (or both) I would set up a shared folder in Dropbox (or other cloud service) so you could see how the images were looking - perhaps if I shot them in batches of five products? Then you could indicate any changes as we went along. I am based in north Kent, so firmly in the UK I always supply fully edited, ready-to-use images for my clients, and I would give you both high resolution files, and (if you wish) images resized for your website, though you may wish to do that yourself.
