Hi there, According to my more than 10 years experience this should not be complicated and should be done very quick. I can show you how to do it via remote access software and teach you in CHINESE. Please be aware that your Wifi Router has to support port forwarding feature to accomplish this little project. If your remote target server is a Linux server, the port 3389 won't work as its reserved for MS RDP. Linux server will require ssh or additional software for remote accessing.
