Hello Could YOU help me creating a mysql database? - Design & Create MySQL DB - Importing CSV files - Stored Procedures (with loop) to store the imported data normalized -- Its important that it's everything imported with a stored procedure, because this data updates daily and I need to upload it to the database. It's all for financial stock data. //Build the index of all stocks with metadata 1. import tickers_fin.csv. This is the primary list (symbol = primary key) of all i need. 1a. import to db with Stored Procedure 2. import [login to view URL], [login to view URL], NYSElist_fin.csv. If the symbol matches, overwrite the Name from this files, otherwise use the Name from tickers_fin.csv. All symbols which don't not exist in [login to view URL] should not be imported. 2a. use a separate field for AMEX(=NYSEMKT), NASDAQ and NYSE, don't overwrite or replace the data from [login to view URL] 2b. save also the sector and industry group in a separate field. 2c. import to db with Stored Procedure //Import Fundamentals and Technicals 3. import [login to view URL] 3a. import to db with Stored Procedure 4. import [login to view URL] 4.a import to db with Stored Procedure //Dimensions [login to view URL] (26 columns) [login to view URL] (72 columns) [login to view URL] (159 columns) [login to view URL] (6 columns) [login to view URL] (6 columns) [login to view URL] (6 columns) If you like to know more about the csv files, I can send you some samples via direct messaging. Hello patrick, i saw the csv files you want to import and store them into mysql db using store procedure. According to the description i will import the data using store procedure and all conditions will follow like data need to replace if condition follow otherwise create new field.
