I am developing a sports app. I am a capable front-end developer... but I need some help on the server-side. I am looking for someone who can write a server-side process that will run on my Windows server. The process will grab play-by-play game data from a sports data provider in near-real-time (every 3-5 seconds) and dump it into a MySQL database on the same server. Yes, I did say Windows Server and MySQL database. I would like to use a database table to hold the queue/schedule of games that this server-side process will capture... the process should only run when it it scheduled to run. I have full access to an authorized NBA data provider and have access to simulations that we can use for testing (since regular season hasn't started yet). The simulations run live each day between 13:00 and 20:00 UTC. This specific project will be for the NBA... but, when successful, I will want to engage you again to adapt for other sports such as NFL, NHL, Futbol, MLB, Racing, Cricket, etc. I would like to complete this project as soon as possible this coming week. Payment will be made in full upon successful completion of the project and delivery of source files. Source code should be well-documented.

Hello, We need to configure your IIS to work with python or PHP (if not done yet), then we can write to the MySQL db. How many games playing at the same time in NBA (max)? How many different types of event do we have on a bascketball game (I know well about soccer, but not about bascketball :-) )? e.g. Time: XX:XX:XX 1. Faul (by Player X - Team A) 2. Penalty (diff types x1 x2 x3) 3. 2-point score 4. 3-point score 5. Substitution (Player X Goes Out - > Player Y Comes in ) 6. First Quarter Starts 7. First Quarter Ends etc I'm asking because each has a different condition with different parameters to be written to the DB table. Looking forward to hear from you
